As a medical practitioner I do record personal, and medical information. This information is important to ensure a client’s wellbeing is prioritised. Contact details are used to issue reminder’s, appointment updates and relevant medical correspondence.  It is held safely and securely in conjunction with GDPR guidelines & privacy legislation, in a locked filing cabinet, to which I have the only access, and in password protected phone and laptop.

Medical record summaries may be shared with GP’s and medical professionals, if requested by the client. 

Medical records are legally required to be kept for 7 years. Children’s records are kept until 7 years after their 18th birthday. After which I do operate a “Right to be forgotten” policy and any records shall be deleted. These records remain the property of the individual and are available to clients at any point. Any data information requested will be issued as quickly as possible where it is feasible and possible to do so. 




How I get the personal information and why I have it
Most of the personal information that I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:

 • To be able to contact you.
 • To advise and provide services to you.
 • To post products to you.
 • To request and receive payment.

Any complaints in relation to data storage/privacy should be made to me, or the Information Commissioner’s Office, Northern Ireland if I am unable to meet any concerns you may have.

I will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
